Training Arrangements in the Holidays Training will continue as normal in the holidays except that: - No training the Saturday Morning of Country Championships 18th July 2009;
- Training for Juniors and Development from 4.00pm to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 4.30 to 6.00pm Friday both weeks (training Tues, Thurs and Sat AM as normal).
In the first week of the holidays all afternoon Development and Junior sessions will focus on Freestyle and Backstroke and in the second week on Butterfly and Breaststroke. This is a special service for members during the holidays. We know this concentrated program works! Swimmers are strongly advised to come to all sessions Monday to Friday as the skills will be taught in stages an swimmers who miss a stage will find it harder to learn at the same rate as others who have done all the previous sessions. - I would ask the parents of Juniors competing at Country to talk to me about appropriate training for their swimmer in the lead up to Country.
Swimathon – Friday 24th July 2009 Please see David for a copy of the Form or Email David

. Some parents are also keen to take part and they will swim with the senior group from 5.30pm in their own lane. The Pool Swim Slide is also booked for fun family event. Country Entries - Ginninderra Meet If you qualify at the Ginninderra Meet for a new event, you will be able to enter but you must have an entry card and money ready to give Karen on the day. to organise what you will be bringing to help with the catering. The club has been given another opportunity to host a Bunnings BBQ at Fhyswick on 19 July 2009. These BBQs bring in much needed fundraising for our club. Whilst we need the help and support of all parents in the club to run this BBQ, the 19th of July is the weekend on NSW Country Championships and a lot of our Silver and Gold Swimmers will be in sydney on this weekend, so we particularly need the assistance of parents of Development and Junior Swimmers. It is hoped that (dependent on numbers) that we will need your help for no more than 2 hours....so please step up and help. If you can help please contact Janine Brown via email on
