The Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Club has been one of Canberra's best performed teams in recent years, having won the ACT Championships for the past several years and also having the largest team of swimmers at the NSW Country and NSW State Age Championships of any Canberra based club in 2010. The Tuggeranong Vikings also finished 13th overall at the NSW 12/U State Championships - the highest of any ACT Team. We are a community based swimming club which is situated in the Canberra satellite city of Tuggeranong. TVSC offers training and stroke correction for all levels of swimmers from beginners to NSW Country, State and National level representatives.

All sessions take place at the Tuggeranong Lakeside Leisure Centre in Greenway, ACT, adjacent to the Tuggeranong Town Centre. For sessions times and squad information please click here.

TVSC's competitive squads are strong and successful, boasting National, State and Country medallists and finalists amongst their current membership. Although members are encouraged to take part in local and interstate swim meets, competition is not mandatory. We appreciate that our members have many reasons for swimming - to fulfil competition goals, train for fitness and/or other sports, or to enjoy the social side of swimming.

The Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Club is affiliated with both Swimming ACT and Swimming NSW.

Aims of TVSC

• To promote and encourage the art of swimming and to allow each individual to develop their full swimming potential.
• To provide a family oriented swimming environment characterised by regular, structured training and regular club social activities.
• To develop and maintain swimmer fitness and a healthy approach to life.

We believe that all swimmers, regardless of ability level, are special, and deserve the opportunity to succeed, both in their swimming careers and personal development.

Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Club is also committed to fostering youth development and leadership.

Our major sponsor, the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union and Amateur Sports Club, continues to be invaluable in their ongoing support of our club and approximately fifty other amateur sports clubs in the Tuggeranong Valley. The TVRU & ASC provides financial and administrative supports to the members of TVSC.
