Well done Vikings! we won the ACT Swimming Championships in emphatic style.  The Vikings women’s team won with 4390 points whilst the men’s teams also won the title with 2902 points, leading from Friday night all the way to the competitions end on Sunday. Nine of the clubs swimmers were crowned ACT Champions for their age including: 
  • Abbey Webb & Amelia Laudenbach (joint 9yrs girls champions)
  • Rebecca Cross (10yrs girls champion)
  • Rebekah McCoy (11yrs girls champion)
  • Bethany Colquhoun (15yrs girls champion)
  • Ashleigh Streatfield (16yrs girls champion)
  • Elizabeth Philippa (17yrs girls champion)
  • Jackson Savage (11yrs boys champion)
  • Lachlan Colquhoun (13yrs boys champion)

  • Danielle Grimm (girls 9yrs)
  • Kate Tabke, Breana Gilroy and Milla Wolf (2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in the girls 10yrs)
  • Samuel Wright (2nd boys 10yrs)
  • Tizana Fiorese (2nd girls 11yrs)
  • Angus Funnell (2nd boys 12yrs)
  • Ryan Hore (2nd boys 15yrs)
  • Daniel Steemson (2nd boys 17yrs)  
  • Christie Jones (2nd women’s 18yrs and over)
 As well as having the highest number of ACT Age Champions of any club by healthy margin, we had a huge list of gold medal winners including: 
  • Lachlan Colquhoun (13yrs) 6 Gold in the 200 IM, 200 Breast, 100 Fly, 50 Free, 100 Breast and 100 Free
  • Rebekah McCoy (11yrs) 4 gold in the 100 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, and 100 Back
  • Bethany Colquhoun (15yrs) 3 Gold in the 50 Free, 100 Free and 100 Fly
  • Amelia Laudenbach (9yrs) 3 gold in the 100 Back, 100 Breast and 100 Free
  • Jackson Savage (11yrs) 3 gold in the 50 Free, 100 Fly, and 100 Back
  • Ashleigh Streatfield (15yrs) 3 gold in the 400 IM, 200 Breast, and 100 Breast
  • Abbey Webb (9yrs) 3 gold in the 100 Fly, 200 IM, and 50 Free
  • Rebecca Cross (10yrs) 2 gold in the100 Breast and 200 IM
  • Tizana Fiorese (11yrs) 2 gold in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast
  • Emma Gillingham (11yrs) 2 gold in the 100 Fly and 200 Fly
  • Breana Gilroy (10yrs) 1 2 gold in the 50 Free
  • Ryan Hore (15yrs) 2 gold in the 100 Back and 400 IM
  • Jeremy Huntley (20) 1 gold in the 50 Back
  • Kate Tabke (10yrs) 1 gold in the 100 Free
  • Samuel Wright (10yrs) 1 gold in the 100 Breast.
